NNGS Project (Next Generation Sobral) under the responsibility and initiative of Rui Ferreira and José Pina, teachers at Escola Básica de Pero Negro, belonging to the Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral School Group, from Sobral de Monte Agraço, and aimed at first cycle students of basic education, visited Inovacril’s facilities on March 30th.
It was with special pleasure that Inovacril, partner of this project, welcomed the 40 students from this school, having the opportunity to show and explain various phases of the production process, and the technology associated with it.
It should be remembered that these students take their classes in a new and modern school, equipped with digital mechanisms to control energy profitability, and that the NGS Project, a mathematics project based on computational thinking, aims to boost energy and digital transitions, adding robotics, energy, programming and entrepreneurship, in order to develop the student’s profile according to the skills needed for the 21st century.
