1. What are cookies
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on or accessed from a user's device when visiting a website. They may be used to enable essential features, save preferences, measure usage or, subject to consent where required, support personalisation and advertising.
Similar technologies may also be used, such as pixels, tags, local storage and device identifiers.
2. Responsibility
INOVACRIL is responsible for ensuring that the technologies deployed or enabled on the website comply with applicable legal requirements.
The website uses Shopify, and the public loading of Google Tag Manager has been detected. The existence of other tools should be confirmed through a technical audit of the Shopify account and the GTM container.
3. Categories
Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential to the operation of the website, security, cart, checkout, authentication, fraud prevention, privacy preferences and functions requested by the user.
These cookies may be used without consent when strictly necessary to provide the requested service.
Functional cookies
Enable additional features and remembering of preferences that are not strictly necessary.
Where legally required, they will only be activated after consent.
Analytics/statistics cookies
Allow measurement of website usage, performance and navigation.
In Portugal, the CNPD has highlighted the need for consent for analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary.
Marketing/advertising cookies
May be used to measure campaigns, create segments, personalise advertising or track activity across websites/services.
They should only be activated after valid consent, where required.
4. Consent
On first visit, the user should be able to:
- accept non-essential cookies;
- reject non-essential cookies;
- manage preferences by category.
Rejecting should be as simple as accepting. Non-essential categories should not be pre-selected.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie preferences” option or an equivalent mechanism available on the website.
5. Cookie inventory
The following table reflects a technical survey carried out on the store on 3 September 2026. The inventory may vary with the installation or removal of apps, and is therefore reviewed periodically.

The analytics and marketing cookies identified above should only be activated after valid consent. You can change your preferences at any time through the consent management mechanism available on the website.
6. Google Tag Manager and third-party tags
Google Tag Manager can function as a container for other technologies. The mere fact that GTM exists does not in itself mean that Google Analytics or advertising exists.
All analytics/marketing tags must be identified and configured to respect the user's choice before firing.
7. Shopify Customer Privacy
The store should use Shopify's privacy settings under Settings > Customer privacy, or a CMP compatible with the Customer Privacy API, ensuring that pixels and apps respect consent in the relevant regions.
If Shopify Network Intelligence or other advanced features are active, the Privacy Policy and the banner should be reviewed in accordance with the obligations and wording required by Shopify.
8. Management through the browser
The user can also manage cookies through browser settings. This option is complementary and does not replace the website's consent mechanism for non-essential technologies.
9. Changes
This Policy may be updated when apps, pixels, tags or providers are installed or removed, or when applicable rules change.
